Children’s Hearing Test

Are you concerned about your child's hearing?

Hearing loss in children

A child’s entire auditory system from the ears to the brain must be working well for children to learn, develop language, feel connected, and communicate with their world.

Hearing loss in children occurs when one of the components of the child’s hearing system is impacted. Many parents are familiar with children’s ear infections and the short-term impact these have on children’s hearing. Other factors that can affect a child’s hearing include a build-up of ear wax, or excess mucus due to a cold. There could however be other underlying issues causing hearing loss that can be tricky to spot without a thorough hearing test.

Our audiologists at Sydney Hearing Clinic is specialised in children’s hearing health and diagnostics. We conduct age appropriate testing providing accurate results to support your child’s hearing health and overall development.
